The Department of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences of the University of Milan has been selected to host the ISAE South West Europe Regional Meeting 2026. The event will bring together international researchers and professionals working in the field of applied ethology and animal welfare, providing an opportunity to discuss recent scientific advances and key future challenges in animal welfare.
The conference will take place at the Lodi campus (Via dell’Università 6, Lodi, Italy) on June 18-19 and will focus on the theme “New Insights in Welfare Assessment: Novel Approaches for Farm and Companion Animals”.

The programme will include lectures by invited speakers, as well as sessions dedicated to participants’ contributions, presented as scientific posters or short oral presentations.
We warmly invite participants to contribute with their own research by submitting an abstract to benessereanimale@unimi.it no later than May 28, using the Word template available at the link below.
Registration to the event will be open from May 28 to June 14.
