The first Scientific Workshop on Introduction to Omics for Animal Health and Welfare will take place on 18 June 2026 in Lodi, Italy, with the possibility to attend either in person or online.
The workshop is organised within the framework of ANEW-HEALTH project (SOA33) and aims to provide participants with a solid introduction to omics approaches, focusing on both theoretical foundations and practical applications in the field of animal health and animal welfare.
The programme will include:
- an overview of the main omics techniques,
- practical insights illustrated through case studies and real research examples,
- a dedicated session for questions, discussion, and exchange with speakers and participants.
The event is intended for researchers interested in integrating omics tools into their research activities related to animal health and welfare.
The event will be held in English, and participation is free of charge.
Following the workshop, participants will also have the opportunity to attend the ISAE South West Europe Regional Meeting 2026 (more information available here).
