Maria Giorgia Riva

Fellow of the School of Applied Ethology and Animal Welfare

Maria Giorgia graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Parma in 2020.

In the same year, she decided to continue her studies by enrolling in the School of Specialisation in Applied Ethology and Animal Welfare at the University of Milan.

Here she had the opportunity to be involved in the research group, with a particular interest in equines. More specifically, she focuses her research work on the evaluation of pain in this species, a subject on which she chose to develop her specialisation thesis project.
