Dr. Greta Veronica Berteselli<\/a> will partecipat in the 73rd EAAP (European Federation of Animal Science) Annual Congress with a poster entitled \u201cDecrease in rumination as early warning indicator of clinical mastitis onset in high-producing dairy\u201d. The Congress will be held in Porto (Portugal) from 5 to 9 September 2022.<\/p>\n\n

This study highlights how behavioral changes, detectable through the use of PLF, and specifically sensors, are potentially useful in early detection of mastitis cases. \nT Combining PLF and health data may be an innovative approach to manage and prevent mastitis, that remains a main health and welfare issue in dairy cows. \nThis study is a part of ClearFarm Project (https:\/\/www.clearfarm.eu\/) <\/p>\n\n\n\n
