Research group
Since the early 1970s, the Applied Ethology and Animal Welfare research group has been carrying out research in the field of applied ethology and the welfare assessment of farm and companion animals, with a particular focus on the sustainability aspects of animal husbandry and the human-animal relationship. It also deals with diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of behavioural problems in different species.
